«If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else.» Yogi Berra (famous American baseball hero)
You most likely began your activity by creating a Business Plan. Times and conditions change. Now is the time to update that original plan based on today’s business environment. It is time to develop a new Strategic Plan. Strategic planning will determine the direction direction your company should take for the short, medium and long term. It is your road map that will show you where you want to go and how to get there. The strategic planning process can be broken down into three main parts :
Strategic analysis of present business environment (including political and economic situation, company policies and products, competition) and future trends. Definition of strategic goals. Establishment of plans to acheive your goals, including indicators on how to mesure your progress and the resources needed.
DP Worldwide is there to help you all the way through the process: preparing the meetings(defining your objectives, participants, meeting timing and organization, tools to be used…), conducting the planning meeting and coaching meeting participants, putting together and publishing the plan and finally helping you follow up and adjust your plan as needed to ensure you stay on course.
